Craniosacral therapy is often appreciated for its benefits in relation to problems encountered by babies, which can often rapidly resolve in response to the application of Craniosacral Therapy.
Babies’ problems following birth might include colic, sucking difficulties and sleep problems. Compression forces present during the birth process, as a result of muscular uterine contractions and the passage through the pelvis, can create displacement within the baby’s body. The relatively soft bones of the newborn’s head are able to move and adapt during the birth passage, but do not always return to their optimal position. This can lead to a variety of problems, but these can very readily respond to craniosacral therapy treatment. |
